Determining what is the best in any field is a pretty subjective thing to do. This is especially true when it comes to music festivals, as there are several factors to be considered when choosing the best one. Those factors include festival genre and lineup, the value you get for the money, festival location and duration, and so on. That is why we have decided to take a different approach, and give you the list of the best festival venues in Croatia.
As you know, festival venues can vary from large outdoor stadiums to small capacity clubs. Croatian festivals are a good example of this, as there are numerous different locations where the festivals take place. Some of the venues are beaches, while others are located in the cities. Nevertheless, we have gathered all of them in one place and made an ultimate list of the best Croatia festival venues.
How did we found the best festival venues in Croatia?
This was the tricky part. The initial idea was to determine which festival in Croatia is the best, by taking user reviews from several review sites such as TripAdvisor, Facebook, and Yelp. However, since a lot of festivals either don’t have reviews enabled on these sites or the number of reviews is irrelevant, we have decided to rate their venues instead.
Best rated festival destinations
Again, ratings for festival venues in Croatia could be done using any of the aforementioned websites. However, to keep things in order, we have chosen to take only Google Reviews into consideration. That way ratings are somewhat objective because they are given by the real world people, who presumably visited these locations. Each festival venue can be easily found on Google Maps, which is exactly what we did. Please note that some venues are given a specific rating regardless of the festival. For example, a certain beach in Croatia is rated by several hundreds of people, but not all of them actually attended the festival which took place at that beach. However, those ratings are also important and should be taken into account, as we are basically just looking at the location at which the festival takes place.

A notable exception from this list is definitely the Martinska Beach near Šibenik. There were no ratings for the beach online. However, being there personally, we assure you the beach should definitely be included in the list. Martinska beach will host several festivals in 2021 such as the Seasplash festival, Regius festival, and Goulash Disco.
