Graffiti na Gradele festival announces first names for 2023

There are just over two months left until the new edition of the beloved summer festival in Bol on the island of Brač, Graffiti na Gradele.

This year’s GNG will last even two days longer, from July 26th to July 30th, 2023, and among the first names coming to Bol are 30Zona, 2xŠihta, Krešo i Žuvi, Bore Balboa, and Sjena. Festival tickets priced at 23 euros can be found on entrio.hr starting today.

The strongest performers of the domestic and regional trap and hip-hop scene will once again bring the audience from all parts of Croatia to Brač, where they have been enjoying graffiti, murals, concerts, numerous workshops, the sea, and the sun for the eleventh year in a row during the last week of July. As the first announced part of the lineup, the champions of the Zagreb ghetto scene, 30Zona, will come to Bol. With three albums behind them, this Zagreb duo has quickly become a favorite among the audience, and their regional popularity was boosted by the fact that they participated in the Serbian series “Južni vetar,” recording the first song by Croatian artists, “Pos’o.”

The other beloved band of the Croatian audience coming to GNG is 2xŠihta. Emerging from the legendary Zagreb band High5, pioneers of the trap scene who had some of their first concerts at the early editions of Graffiti na Gradele, they are now coming to the well-known locations in Bol. Riđi, Rade, Žugi, and Rinoma will perform hits from their first album “Spremni za rad,” together with the audience who sings along with them.

Krešo and Žuvi are legends of the Split rap scene, also festival residents and an indispensable part of creating the entire rap vibe of the festival from the very beginning. With hits like “Mirela Holy,” “Paka,” “Imam zgodnu prijateljicu,” “Niko nema meda,” and many others that we could hear when the concerts were still held at the old location in Bijela kuća, they will create a hot atmosphere in Bol’s 585 Club that should not be missed.

Bore Balboa, the gentleman of Croatian rap and one of the most popular performers in this genre in Croatia and the region, is also a festival resident and will return to the fiery stage of Club 585. In ten years, he has built almost a cult of personality within his scene – with complete justification. A brilliant lyricist in the manner of his underground hip-hop predecessors, he has won over the audience and critics with two studio albums, cementing his name deep within the Croatian hip-hop scene with each new hit.

Sjena is a relatively new name in the trap scene but rightly stands on big stages with the aforementioned and other giants of this genre. His first album “Princ Vampirsky” immediately received approval from the audience, and on nine songs, popular Croatian trap artists Goca R.I.P., Yung Buda, and Buntai are featured as guests. He will come to the stages of Graffiti na Gradele for the first time, and we have no doubt about his effectiveness with the GNG audience.
