Outlook and Dimensions festival leaving Pula after 10 years

Two of the most popular music festivals in the Istria region – Dimensions festival and Outlook festival – are leaving Punta Christo fort in Pula. Organizers confirmed the decision on the official Facebook page. With this decision, Pula has seen yet another big festival leave town. It was previously announced that Seasplash festival is also relocating, from nearby Stinjan suburb to Sibenik town. Sisterly festivals Outlook and Dimensions have been located in Croatia for 12 years, 10 of which on Punta Christo port. Some of the biggest music artists, promoters and record stores have left their mark on these festivals. Punta Christo fort, along with Pula Arena, was host for major names, such as Dizzee Rascal, Wiley, Damian Marley, Lauryn Hill, Grace Jones, Massive Attack, Jeff Mills and so on.

We are truly sorry about the decision made by festival organizers, but we understand that it was influenced by numerous factors beyond their control. We understand the decision and respect it. Our partnership with organizers was good since the beginning.

Outlook and Dimension are among the most popular European festivals. Thanks to them, tens of thousands of young people visit Pula each year, making the city a recognizable destination. Because of the benefit festivals gave to the community, the city supported them ever since they came to Pula.

Besides international recognition of Pula, festivals also generated a lot of financial benefits to numerous cafes, bars, restaurants and hotels. Therefore, tourist offers were much richer. Festivals also generated an increase in numbers of overnight stays and arrivals, especially in the postseason. The whole organization of these festivals in Pula promoted the city as a festival destination. Therefore, we hope they will someday return to Pula.
